I've been busy creating an on-line way for customers to acquire photos from iSourceArts. Unfortunately, this project has suffered a set-back caused by the site I was using, alamy.com. Alamy have only a small range of cameras that they consider "suitable" and the Lumix FZ1000 has not been added to the list yet. This means starting over with a more up to date supplier of stock photos. As an apology for the delay, here is one of the "unsuitable" photos that was rejected. Isn't this a little like rejecting a painting because the artist used an unsuitable brush? Blog will be updated as soon as the new platform has been set up. Full conversation with Alamy:

Here’s our list of recommended cameras if you want to see what cameras we do accept images from - http://www.alamy.com/contributor/help/recommended-digital-cameras.asp. However if you still want to close your account we’ll get the process started and your account can be closed in just 45 days, but in the meantime can you let us know what happened? If we can’t patch things up with you we might at least be able to make improvements for the future. > Mei Catherall can you give me any justification for NOT including what is being hailed as camera of the year, that is the brand new Lumix FZ 1000? > ---- (MS) Abhishek Premnath (alamy.com) wrote ---- We don’t review cameras, we make our decision by looking at the images we’ve seen from them. The Lumix FZ 1000 is in our suitable list. > Mei Catherall Sorry? It IS in your "suitable list" or it ISN'T? > ---- (MS) Abhishek Premnath (alamy.com) wrote ---- Sorry that’s my bad, the Lumix FZ 1000 is in our unsuitable list. > Mei Catherall Then until alamy catch up with 2015, I would like to delete my account please. Thank you
